More London Riverside is an area with a rich history of shipping and commerce. The area was known for many years as ‘London’s Larder’ due to the fact that most of the city’s food supply was delivered by ship and unloaded riverside.

This part of the capital has been undergoing substantial regeneration since 2002, with the specific goal of creating safe, elegant open spaces, a recognized art and performance destination, as well as a people friendly mixed-use business district.

"The way we use offices is changing. Lighting has to change too"

- Jenny MacDonnell - (British Council for Offices)

The 13.5 acre development has most definitely enhanced the London skyline, with its uncluttered and elegant design.

The glass sided buildings provide a significant amount of natural daylight and maximise the pleasant river views. This helps to provide a pleasant environment for employees and substantial savings on lighting energy costs.

4 More London was designed by the London based, award winning, Foster & Partners architects.

Completed in 2006, the 154,284 sq ft, 10 story building is a testament of the company’s 40 years of quality standards as well as its elegant, contemporary and sustainable approach to architecture.

The SAS 330 ceiling system and Luxonic's Alterlux for offices range were selected to meet the needs of this award winning project's planners. Both products are manufactured to British standards and within working procedures which embrace sustainability.

The ALM is a stylish, high efficiency, low profile, recessed, LED luminaire. Designed to seamlessly integrate with the SAS 330 system, this luminaire can achieve an impressive 109 luminaire lumens per circuit watt, and is supplied with an efficient Tp(a) satin polycarbonate high transmissive lens.

"Using daylight sensors or photocells can reduce electricity use by up to 40%."
