The awards, now in their fourth year, celebrates manufacturing businesses from across the region. Insider carefully selected Luxonic from a raft of top-tier nominees, recognising the company for its focus on sustainable innovation in its lighting design and manufacture operation, for industrial through to high-end architectural builds.
The award tops off a landmark year for Luxonic, who heralded the arrival of 2016 with a complete rebrand in celebration of its 30-year anniversary. Since then, Luxonic has had a bumper year, celebrating new offices in Glasgow and at 15 Old Bailey, London; record revenues of £20million; the launch of its hugely successful HI-MAX® range for industrial builds; and the expansion of its Basingstoke HQ.
Speaking after the gala dinner held at the Hilton Hotel in Gatwick, managing director Nick Tavaré, who founded the business in 1986, commented: “Luxonic could not be prouder to have won tonight, especially coming to the end of what has been a remarkable 12 months for us. We’re a proud British manufacturer, so to be recognised as a regional leader really tops off what has been an exceptional year.
“The constant investment in innovation at our LuxLab has allowed us to establish and enjoy sustainable growth and stay one step ahead with the latest technologies and lighting solutions. These awards really demonstrate the forward thinking design and quality manufacturing that has brought Luxonic success throughout our history.”
